Our April seminar kicked off the first in-person BAGS seminar since early 2020! Dr. Stanislav Glubokovskikh, from the Lawerence Berkeley Laboratory, gave a presentation on his work understanding and modeling the rock physics of saturated sandstones on the microscopic scale. Eleven audience members made the trek to McCone Hall on the UC Berkeley campus to listen, with another handful attending the simultaneous Zoom broadcast. BAGS is looking forward to more in-person talks as this year goes on!
